Job Title: Healthcare ProfessionalsAs a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to our clients. This includes providing personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving and transferring, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and high-dependency care, prompting medication, and addressing light housework/basic shopping needs.
We are seeking empathetic and reliable individuals who can work independently and as part of a team. You will be required to adhere to the client's Care Plan, which outlines the individual nature of services, and facilitate social interactions and activities, offering companionship.
You will observe, listen to, and engage with clients to foster positive relationships with them and their families. Being punctual and managing time efficiently is also crucial.
Upholding confidentiality and communicating any changes or concerns regarding client needs/care to the office are also essential responsibilities. Documenting and reporting any incidents is also a must.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of GDPR, especially its importance in working with the elderly. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is also necessary.
Additionally, you will be required to hold a full driver's license and own transport, be able to work flexible hours, and be willing to undergo a medical examination to obtain a medical fitness certificate for work.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, dedicated, diligent, and trustworthy, with a passion for delivering exceptional care services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Completion of at least 2 modules: QQI Care Skills and QQI Care of the Older Person
- Minimum of one year's experience in a healthcare setting
- International Police Clearance Certificate (if applicable)
- Willingness to undergo a medical examination to obtain a medical fitness certificate for work
- Holding a full driver's license and owning transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, dedication, diligence, and trustworthiness
- A good understanding of GDPR, especially its importance in working with the elderly
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Rate of pay from €13.50/hour
- Paid Travel time for journeys from client to client
- €250 bonus for friend referrals
- Flexible hours available Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm
