Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Acute Hospital Setting

This is a fantastic opportunity to work full-time in a busy, fast-paced acute hospital environment where you will contribute to patient care and gain valuable experience across various clinical areas.

About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality assessments and interventions to patients within an acute hospital setting.
  • Contribute to treatment planning and delivery of therapy programs to support patients' recovery and discharge.
  • Participate actively in discharge planning and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care transitions.
  • Educate and support patients and families regarding therapy goals, treatment, and progress.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to team meetings, audits, and service initiatives.
Requirements:
  • CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist (Essential).
  • Experience working in an acute hospital or similar setting (placement experience will be considered).
  • Strong clinical skills with an interest in medical, surgical, orthopedics, or rehabilitation caseloads.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
