Job Summary

Maintenance Manager sought to lead electrical, mechanical, and operative teams in ensuring effective and efficient maintenance of infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance schedules according to priority, cost, timelines of tasks and compliance requirements.
  • Implement maintenance schedules based on task priority, budget considerations, deadlines, and compliance obligations.
  • Lead daily team meetings to assign responsibilities aligned with the maintenance plan.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of repairs, upgrades, and project work.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, focusing on cost control, overtime, repairs, renewals, and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Sustainability Team to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy-related costs.
  • Manage service contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of maintenance progress and task completion.
  • Prepare tender documentation for minor works projects.
  • Oversight of project delivery to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and public procurement guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years plus proven experience in a maintenance management role with a strong electrical background.
  • Excellent working knowledge and understanding of maintenance systems, BMS Systems, HVAC Systems, Electrical and Mechanical plant services and installations, Emergency Systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge of PV and renewable energy systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills/problem solving skills.
  • Proven project and people management skills.
  • Ability to work, make decisions, and give direction under pressure.
  • Full driving licence.
