About the Role

As a skilled technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities remain safe and functional for customers and colleagues. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across various systems and equipment.


Directly impacting the shopping experience of thousands of customers daily, your work will require using technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Safety, compliance, and quality are always top priorities.


Your Responsibilities
  • Interacting confidently with external contractors to coordinate repairs seamlessly.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality service.
  • Sustaining high energy levels while juggling tasks effectively.
  • Assisting the management team in maintaining efficient store operations.
  • Minimizing customer disruption by coordinating repairs effectively.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Ensuring all facilities are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
  • General day-to-day facility and property maintenance.
  • Utilizing mobile devices to drive effective work completion and updates.
  • Representing the company by demonstrating core values, maintaining a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the company uniform.
  • Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
  • Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

We seek candidates with previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments who are digitally confident using tablets to view daily work schedules and manage emails.


Operational Skills:


  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or improver program or trade proficiency test/relevant trade experience
  • BASIC DIAGNOSTICS: PCB/MICROPROCESSOR/HMI CONTROLLED SYSTEMS/EQUIPMENT ELECTRICAL SAFETY CIRCUIT - BASIC WORKING KNOWLEDGE, FAULT FINDING AND REPLACEMENT
  • EICR REMEDIAL KNOWLEDGE FULL DRIVING LICENSE HEALTH & SAFETY AWARENESS COMMUNICATION & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT OFFICE 365 KNOWLEDGE

Required Qualifications:


  • CITY & GUILDS LEVEL 3 ELECTRICAL (OR EQUIVALENT)
  • APPRENTICESHIP/IMPROVER PROGRAMME EICR REMEDIAL WORKS EXPERIENCE
