Belfast, Ireland beBeeMaintenance Full time £40,000 - £50,000
Job Description:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring equipment availability for production when required. Your responsibilities include operating and maintaining planned maintenance schedules and performing timely non-scheduled maintenance.

Your overall responsibility will cover all equipment maintenance activities. You will learn the company's goals and quality policy, understand the cleanroom environment, and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in your own environment and the site.

You will actively work as part of the MRB team to reduce scrap, monitor your training plan, and keep up-to-date with best practices that comply with Health and Safety at Work Act and Icemos code of business conduct and ethics policy.

Knowledge of the production line is essential. You must maintain an excellent time-keeping and attendance record, work during day shifts, and contribute to the company's success.

Preventive maintenance activities relating to area equipment and associated metrology are critical. Calibration items must be kept up-to-date, and no equipment out of calibration should be used in production. You will process procedures for products, including SPC maintenance and data entry.

Maintaining a clean and tidy work area in fab and across the site is vital. Continuous improvement of equipment maintenance activities to reduce costs and increase tool availability for production is expected. Supporting Process Development Engineers, implementing improvement activities, and developing experiments to identify root causes of failure are also key responsibilities.

Excellent communication skills are necessary for liaising with external suppliers on materials development, ensuring consumables are available for manufacturing, providing examples of best operating practice, and maintaining fab housekeeping standards.

This role requires skilled experience in maintenance, repair, and operation of scientific or technical equipment, a strong background in equipment maintenance, problem-solving skills, and understanding of electrical schematics and pneumatic drawings.
