Electronics Validation Expert

Avoiding defects and ensuring top-notch quality are the hallmarks of your work as an Electronics Validation Expert.

Your Role:

You will be a key player in guaranteeing the highest standards of electronic and IoT products. Your responsibilities include validating new designs, conducting critical electrical tests, and enforcing adherence to our rigorous quality benchmarks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee validation processes for Alarm & IoT Sensor products, encompassing RF modules & Gateways
  • Design and assemble prototype electronic circuits/systems
  • Perform crucial ESD and various Electrical Tests (Surges & Transients)
  • Collaborate with design engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electronic circuits, components, and software
  • Develop comprehensive validation plans, execute tests diligently, document results accurately, and prepare clear technical reports
  • Ensure all products consistently meet high-quality standards, striving for zero defects
  • Contribute to knowledge base documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience testing electronic products (hardware & software), preferably IoT, consumer electronics, or home security
  • Strong proficiency in electronics principles and components; able to confidently read and interpret schematics
  • Proficient with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Signal Generators, etc.) and experienced with soldering and rework (including surface mount components)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a meticulous approach
  • Ability to follow the project plan, manage tasks effectively, and work to deadlines
  • Qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or significant equivalent practical experience
