As an Environmental Consenting Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our net-zero ambitions by 2040.

Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and support the development and assessment of project-specific consenting tasks for offshore wind projects.
2. Prepare and/or review technical scopes of work documents for consenting activities and provide support to other disciplines as needed.
3. Manage the procurement of services and quality control output from external environmental specialists.
4. Identify key consenting project risks and associated issues, communicate effectively, and advise multi-disciplinary project teams on these matters.
5. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and optimize the project consenting strategy in line with project milestones.

Requirements
1. Minimum 7 years' experience in environmental impact assessment and related statutory processes for strategic infrastructure projects.
2. In-depth knowledge and experience of the consenting process for major developments.
3. Strong organizational and structured approach to project management and commercial aspects of projects.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to conduct efficient decision-making and problem-solving in collaboration with stakeholders.
6. Strong knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and practices.
7. A high level of commitment and flexibility, and a full clean driving license.
8. Experience in working on consenting offshore wind projects and associated regulatory processes.

Qualifications
1. Level 8 Environmental or Science Degree or equivalent qualification.
2. Level 9 Engineering or Science Degree or equivalent qualification.
3. Master's degree in civil/environmental engineering or related science discipline.
4. Chartered status in a recognized professional institution.
