Senior Risk Management Position

This position plays a key role in shaping the organization's risk management strategy and ensuring that risk insight informs strategic decisions. You will act as deputy to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management, leading second-line oversight of forward-looking risk, strategic change, and risk policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead second-line oversight of strategic change programmes, ensuring risk views are clear, timely, and forward-looking.
  • Shape and deliver high-quality risk reporting to Board and Executive Committees, with clear insights and impact.
  • Oversee the emerging risk process and contribute to strategic planning and ORSA assessments.
  • Drive second-line climate risk work, including scenario selection, appetite setting, and ORSA inputs.
  • Support the Head of ERM in leading the ERM team and deputise as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of non-life insurance risk and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in risk, actuarial, strategy, or transformation roles with senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Actuarial background is an advantage but not essential.
  • Proven ability to lead risk management initiatives and deliver Board-level reporting.
  • Exposure to ORSA processes, climate risk assessments, or strategic programme oversight.
  • Confident communicator with sharp written output and ability to influence at senior levels.
