  • We are seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the supply chain and manufacturing sector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, managing freight and trade operations, and supporting strategic and tactical supply chain initiatives.">
  • As a Principal Trade & Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing hands-on and strategic support in freight, customs, and trade compliance.">
  • Key Responsibilities:">
    • ">
    • Lead and continuously improve all aspects of Freight, Duty, Customs, and Trade Compliance.">
    • Provide strategic and tactical direction to the supply chain team, ensuring compliance, continuity, and logistics security.">
    • Develop and implement strategies and operational plans that align with site and corporate objectives.">
    • Manage inbound and outbound freight logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.">
    • Audit and manage service providers to ensure performance against agreed SLAs and compliance with business goals.">
    • Maintain robust Customs & Duty controls and reporting.">
    • Ensure effective Trade Compliance governance and alignment with EU and international regulations.">
    • Collaborate with external agencies, industry groups, and internal peers to share best practices.">

About You:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Logistics, or a related field.">
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Trade/Logistics, with strong expertise in import/export administration.">
  • Hands-on knowledge of HS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin requirements.">
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve import/export challenges across systems, suppliers, and service providers.">
  • Previous experience in customs operations, trade compliance, or freight forwarding.">
  • Proficiency in SAP or equivalent MRP systems.">
  • Strong knowledge of Irish, EU, and international customs regulations.">
