Job Title:

  • Freight Operations Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate freight planning and logistics activities, including vendor relationship management and month end billing cycle optimization.
  • Support with PO requests for month end reconciliations, ensure rate file effectiveness, and archive outdated commercial buy and sell rates.
  • Follow up with vendors for rate file updates, check queried vendor invoices, and produce commercial KPIs.
  • Develop PowerPoint slides for SLT/QBR and support projects related to operational productivity, cost improvement, and process optimization.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in freight / logistics / import & export role
  • Experience in working with suppliers and understanding of negotiation / procurement process
  • Ability to think ahead, plan accordingly, practical problem-solving ability, and credible communication and negotiation skills at all levels
  • Ability to identify, develop, and implement innovative ideas
