We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Assistant. This exciting opportunity will be ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills looking to commit to a long-term role.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the effective preparation of financial accounts up to trial balance stage, including journal entries, prepayments and accruals.
  • The preparation of detailed budgets in Excel format, using links and formulas, for multiple developments to be presented to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring timely submission of accounts to auditors.
  • Maintaining accurate nominal ledgers throughout each financial year and completing bank and creditor reconciliations on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Verifying that all billing is in line with approved budgets and calculating void periods correctly.
  • Properly accounting for interest and debt collection applied and written off.
  • Complying with statutory requirements by submitting ARD dates on time and completing relevant forms for the CRO.
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as requested.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a strong team.
