Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial planning skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting financial planners in formulating and documenting financial plans for clients. This will include developing strategies, researching investment funds, and analyzing insurance products and tax legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist financial planners in formulating and documenting financial plans for clients.
  • Develop ability to identify and document strategies in compliant, personalized format.
  • Support financial planners in annual review process for clients.
  • Attend client meetings with financial planners on and off site across Ireland.
  • Critically analyse information received from planners and clients.
  • Research and analyse investment funds, insurance products and tax legislation as required.
  • Aid in client onboarding.
  • Assist in projects and operational duties aligned with Financial Planning team.
  • Assist in sales support processes.
  • Individual new business processing and pipeline management.
  • Provide professional service to portfolio of external & internal clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Ensure house-keeping and client files are in order.
  • Work to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • QFA qualification mandatory.
  • On the road to CFP qualification, or desire to work towards it.
  • Previous experience dealing with clients in Financial Services environment preferable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Previous experience with CashFlow Modelling Software advantageous.
  • Excellent numeric, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think on feet.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Creativity with ability to work as part of team in fast-paced environment, building strong positive relationships with team members and clients.
