Job Description

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our office. Your day will involve working closely with our team of financial planners, providing quality customized support to meet our clients' needs.

  • Assisting the financial planner in the formulation and documentation of financial plans for the client
  • Developing the ability to identify and document a range of strategies in a compliant, personalized, and tailored format
  • Supporting financial planners in the annual review process for clients
  • Critically analyzing information received from planners and clients alike
  • Researching and analyzing investment funds, insurance products, and tax legislation as required
  • Aiding in the onboarding of clients
  • Assisting in projects and operational duties aligned with the Financial Planning team
  • Providing a professional service to a portfolio of external & internal clients

As a Paraplanner, you will have the opportunity to attend client meetings along with financial planning consultants and build positive relationships with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • QFA qualification is mandatory
  • On the road to CFP qualification or have the desire to work towards it
  • Previous experience dealing with clients in a Financial Services environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Previous experience with CashFlow Modelling Software advantageous
  • Excellent numeric, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet
  • The ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Creativity with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
