About the Role:
This position involves supporting and assisting in the development of care teams, conducting spot checks and client reviews, and providing support with staff shadowing. As a Senior Care Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Main Responsibilities:
• To undertake spot checks with healthcare assistants within the community to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• To conduct thorough client reviews to assess the quality of care provided and identify areas for improvement.
• To communicate effectively with the Quality and Compliance team regarding HIQA and Incident Management.
• To build and maintain strong relationships with the HSE to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery.
• To complete staff introductions in line with company policies and procedures.
• To be responsible for staff shadowing to ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• To undertake emergency responses, including filling new packages and discharges.
• To evaluate and monitor the quality of care delivered to clients and report concerns to the Area Manager.
• To support and assist with care team development.
• To check and collect journal notes from clients' homes.
• To deliver care plans, log sheets, and gloves to clients' homes as required.
• To deliver PPE as needed.
• To update online system documentation, including reviews and spot checks.
• To develop a plan for weekly working, booking in reviews, and confirming with NOK and clients.
• To create a system for completing spot checks with healthcare staff.
• To be responsible for filing paperwork.
• To provide support to coordinators with uncovered tasks in emergencies if needed.
• To attend weekly check-ins with teams as required.

Requirements:
• A relevant health or social care background.
• 1 year's supervisory experience in Healthcare.
• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support.
• Level 6 in Supervisory Management.
• Must be available to work alternative weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Full clean driving license and access to a car.
