Identity Access Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Identity Access Management (IAM) specialist to manage our university's identity lifecycle and ensure secure access to digital services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our identity provisioning system, integrating with student information systems and HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation
    • Develop and implement a hybrid identity infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure AD Connect.
    • Administer and configure Microsoft Entra ID features, managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 identity integrations.
  • Account Provisioning and Maintenance
    • Maintain and enhance the SQL-based identity staging repository used for provisioning and deprovisioning accounts.
    • Automate identity lifecycle processes using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and other tools.
  • Collaboration and Expertise
    • Collaborate with application and data owners to ensure accurate and timely identity data flows.
    • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on IAM best practices, security standards, and new identity solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure AD Connect.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to automate identity lifecycle processes using scripting languages and APIs.
