European Customer Support Specialist

Role Overview:

This is a customer-facing position where you will be the main point of contact for customers across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide proactive communication to internal and external customers regarding order status and other topics.
  • Review and maintain customers' open orders on a daily basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve any order processing issues reported by customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolve email, fax, and telephone inquiries and liaise directly with customers on various issues to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data is maintained on SAP.
  • Keep customer account changes up to date and communicate them to the relevant teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, inventory levels, special requirements, and promotions to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Communicate regularly with the Team Lead on changes, issues, and potential concerns with any customer accounts.
  • Work with the central warehouse and supply chain team on inventory, escalations, and customer inquiries to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete all customer or staff requested reporting to support internal and external data requests.
  • Develop and maintain fruitful relationships with customers and internal colleagues to drive business growth.
  • Comply with and execute applicable Quality Management System processes to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Dutch and French is required.
  • Candidate must have a customer-focused attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative-taking skills are essential for this role.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills are necessary to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong computer navigation and typing skills are required for data entry and reporting tasks.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are essential for ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good email etiquette is required for professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for success in this role.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities is necessary to meet business needs.
  • SAP or ERP system experience is advantageous but not essential for this role.
