Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to support the growth of our business by providing timely and accurate financial information in compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial records.
  • They will create, analyze, and provide management information to the business within agreed deadlines.
  • Responsibilities include the development and delivery of management and statutory financial statements within agreed timelines.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to analyzing financial data, going beyond timely and accurate preparation to understand and communicate why action is required.
  • They will assist in managing the interim and year-end audit process.
  • Additionally, they will help prepare periodic direct and indirect tax returns and reconciliations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A recognized qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in producing thoughtful and relevant management information, acting as a commercially-minded financial business partner.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, and system experience of 3e, SAP Concur, Power BI is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts.
  • The ability to self-motivate and take ownership, combined with a team-work mentality, is vital.
