Job Opportunity: Housing Management Specialist

The role of a Housing Management Specialist is crucial in providing an effective presence in identified localities. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality housing management services with a customer-centric approach, adhering to regulatory standards, and achieving set performance targets.

This position requires ensuring the correct operation and application of housing management policies and procedures. Close collaboration with the Housing Services Team Leader is essential in promoting pride and belonging amongst customers in our communities.

Key duties involve working on cross-functional initiatives, implementing operational service improvements, and supporting Customer Scrutiny Reviews, customer engagement activities, and Locality Panels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of operational delivery priorities and plans for Housing Services functions, focusing on excellent customer service.
  • Support the Lettings Team in ensuring empty properties are let within agreed key performance indicators.
  • Ensure effective housing management services are provided in line with Tuath Tenancy Agreements and statutory requirements.
  • Minimise void rental loss by letting properties promptly.
  • Take personal responsibility for the customer experience from Pre-Tenancy through to Letting.
  • Undertake viewings and sign-ups as directed by the Lettings Coordinator and or Lettings Team Leader.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver co-ordinated services across localities and tenures.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
  • Conduct all activities safely, adhering to the Association's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Evaluate health and safety risks and ensure colleagues are aware of specific instructions and use personal protective equipment where required.
