Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks within a fast-paced factory environment. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a diverse team, utilizing skills such as order assembly, packaging, building, weighing, labeling, food handling, and manual handling.
Key Responsibilities:- Assembly/Packaging: Assemble orders and packages according to customer requirements
- Building: Construct products or components as directed
- Weighing/Labelling: Accurately weigh and label products
- Food Handling: Handle and process food products with care and attention to detail
- Manual Handling: Lift, move, and position objects as required
- Previous Packaging Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Initiative and Enthusiasm: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and enthusiasm for the role
- Flexible Approach: Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and working hours
- Commitment: Commitment to the role and the company's values
- English Language Skills: Good level of English language proficiency
- Manual Handling Certificate: Possession of a manual handling certificate is desirable, although training will be provided if necessary
The successful candidate will be required to work a 35-hour week, consisting of a 3-day cycle rotating shift pattern including Saturday work. Working hours are from 7am to 7:45pm daily.
