Job Description

As a Construction Graduate, you will assist in the provision of quantity surveying & buying services under the guidance of the Managing Quantity Surveyor. You will work collaboratively with a highly committed and experienced team to deliver high-quality results.

The key tasks and duties of this role include:
  1. Estimating and Cost Planning: Collaborate on estimating and cost planning activities.
  2. Procurement Advice: Provide guidance on procurement strategies.
  3. Tender Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tender documents.
  4. Tender Reporting: Contribute to tender evaluation and reporting.
  5. Contract Administration and Cost Control: Support in contract administration and cost control procedures.
  6. Interim Valuations: Assist in the preparation of interim valuations.
  7. Cost Reporting: Contribute to comprehensive cost reporting.
  8. Final Account Preparation: Assist in the preparation of final accounts.
  9. Contract and Dispute Advice: Offer advice on contract-related matters and dispute resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least one year's experience, a willingness to learn and improve, and be capable of being flexible with your skill set. Experience within the main contracting or civil engineering sector is desirable.
