Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
">Work With Us:
">We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Network 5-Galway City West. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide a range of psychological services to children 0-18 years and their families who attend City West Network Disability Team.
">About the Role:
">You will work under the direction of the CDNM and in partnership with psychology colleagues and as a member of the interdisciplinary team, providing an integrated and coordinated service to children and their families. This includes consultation and support programmes for parents and families, reports and information to relevant others, liaison with schools and other external agencies, and attending and participating in relevant meetings and case conferences.
">Your Responsibilities:

- Provide psychological services to children 0-18 years and their families.">
- Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide an integrated and coordinated service to children and their families.">
- Consult with parents and families as appropriate.">
- Provide reports and information to relevant others.">
- Liaise with schools and other external agencies as required.">
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings and case conferences.">
- Facilitate a family-centered approach.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honors in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject. You will also have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology, or an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health.
">Desirable Criteria:
">Experience of inter and trans-disciplinary team working is desirable. Additionally, experience of working in a disability service and with children and adolescents with a range of disabilities post qualification is also desirable. Knowledge and skills in the management of behaviors of concern, conducting diagnostic assessments in children and young people including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities is also desirable.
