Description of Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accommodation Manager to join our team in a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Limerick.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accommodation management, preferably in a busy hotel environment. A key aspect of this role is overseeing all Housekeeping operations to deliver exceptional Guest and Member experiences.

  • You will be responsible for managing Housekeeping budgets through effective stock and cost controls, as well as creating well-managed schedules.
  • Maintain high standards and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team by monitoring their appearance and conduct.
  • Roster staff in line with budget requirements and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance employee performance.
  • Attend regular meetings with Heads of Department to ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Work closely with other departments to guarantee a smooth-running operation.
  • Responsibility for purchasing, storing, inventorying, and controlling all housekeeping-related items.
  • Ensure staff members possess up-to-date knowledge of room categories and amenities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience as an Accommodation Manager or Assistant in a high-end, high-volume 4/5* hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • An excellent team leader who can motivate and inspire staff to achieve their best.
  • High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to work full-time in Ireland without restrictions.
  • Strong command of English both orally and in writing.
