Key Responsibilities:

  • \r
  • Manage employment tax services, ensuring compliance with client obligations.\r
  • Conduct tax technical research and provide advice on Irish tax legislation.\r
  • Plan and execute tax consultancy assignments for employment tax and global mobility.\r
  • Lead PAYE tax due diligence projects, collaborating with stakeholders and delivering findings.\r
  • Handle revenue disclosures, review supporting calculations, and communicate with relevant parties.\r
  • Assist clients with globally mobile employees, including preparing tax technical memorandums and providing ongoing support for cross-border working positions.\r
  • Advise clients on the application and implementation of assignee reliefs.\r
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, contribute to business development, and participate in consultancy projects.\r
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, and provide employment tax and global mobility updates to the tax team.\r
  • Ensure efficient work processes, meet deadlines, and mentor/train junior team members.\r

About You:

  • \r
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an employment tax or global mobility role (consideration given to those with personal tax experience seeking a change).\r
  • AITI qualified / CTA qualified or equivalent.\r
  • In-depth knowledge of global mobility and employment tax legislation.\r
  • Experience managing PAYE Revenue audits and compliance checks.\r
  • Proficiency in preparing/reviewing tax and shadow payroll calculations, personal tax returns for expatriate employees, and associated tax and social security applications.\r
  • Proven project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.\r
  • Client-facing experience within a tax team.\r
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\r
  • Self-starter with initiative, prioritization, and time management abilities.\r
  • Strong attention to detail.\r
