Job Title: Care Support Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, promoting their overall well-being and development.
  • Liaise with families and agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of young people's progress and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with child protection standards and policies.
  • Participate in regular supervision and debriefing sessions to reflect on practice and develop skills.
  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans and placement plans for each young person.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CORU-recognized qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with relevant child care legislation and regulations.
  • Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
