Tax Compliance Specialist Role Overview
The tax team is responsible for validating documentation processes for global and direct custody businesses in Dublin.
We utilize third-party vendor applications and internal systems to make taxation decisions and onward reporting of client income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tax liabilities, compliance, financial planning, and controversy processes.
- Determine information required for income tax filing and related requirements across jurisdictions.
- Participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.
- Integrate expertise and industry knowledge within a defined area.
- Advise on operational standards for others to follow.
Requirements:
- Operations experience, particularly in FATCA, US Tax, and CRS.
- Demonstrated expertise in operations or transferable FATCA/DTT knowledge.
- Experience in organizing workload, acting as a point of contact, and working on cross-functional projects.
- Reviews of written tax policy and procedures, research, and response to operational inquiries.
- Management of TIR service delivery models with clients and stakeholders.
- Team management reviewing, validating, and processing W-8 and W-9 tax forms according to IRS regulations.
- Support for technology projects from a technical tax perspective.
- Development of 'go-to' processes and implementation of procedures for consistent compliance with Information Reporting and FATCA requirements.
