The Tax Specialist plays a crucial role in the tax team, supporting operational tax risk and compliance. This includes managing Corporation Tax, VAT, and other tax obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support with Corporation Tax, VAT, and other tax compliance
- Manage FATCA and CRS requirements, including annual reporting in Ireland and for PIA UK branch
- Manage policyholder tax, operational tax requirements, and related projects
- Support operations and commercial teams on operational tax issues
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with tax and non-tax teams. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, along with professional accounting and/or tax qualifications (ideally ACCA or ITI). The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting tax compliance and working on intergroup projects.
Requirements:- Experience in supporting tax compliance and accounting for current and deferred tax
- Ability to self-manage and work as part of a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
