Senior Environmental Consultant Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will lead projects related to environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, and environmental planning.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work within planning and design teams, demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, determination, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

This is a full-time position based in our office. The role offers significant potential for professional development and advancement, working with in-house and external consultants and private sector client teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead projects related to environmental impact assessment;
  • Develop and implement environmental plans;
  • Collaborate with planning and design teams;
  • Provide expert advice on environmental matters;

Requirements

  • Recognised professional qualification relevant to the role;
  • 5+ years' professional experience in environmental consulting and planning;
  • Knowledge of relevant software including MS Office, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills;
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality delivery;
  • Capability to respond to tight reporting requirements, deadlines, and internal reporting arrangements;
  • Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
