Job Overview

  • As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complex capital projects across various sectors including life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and coordinate production of building services systems including HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and fire protection for large-scale projects.

• Lead the design from concept to handover and act as a subject matter expert (SME) in further developing the company's design capability.

• Attend design team meetings, conduct onsite inspections, and develop/guide team members working under your supervision.

• Liaise and interact with the wider project team including designers, clients, and contractors to ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with the following qualifications:

• 7+ years' experience in designing building services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment within the pharmaceutical or allied sectors.

• Competence in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.

• Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland) in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
