Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced culinary professional to lead our kitchen team at a luxury resort property in Navan. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality cuisine and exceptional service standards.

About the Role:
  • Supervise day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs, promoting professional development and high morale within the team.
  • Contribute to innovative and seasonal menu planning using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food presentation, quality and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for events, banquets and à la carte dining.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of various cuisines, techniques and modern culinary trends.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards.
