We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist in Quality Control Site Operations Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory operations and be able to drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Quality Control teams with continuous improvement projects, focusing on process enhancements for onboarding, training, and method-specific training. They will also work on reducing investigations and improving first-time quality in the QC teams, while supporting Lean labs and automated scheduling tool process improvements. Additionally, they will manage assigned projects, including planning, tracking, communication, and escalation as needed.

This role involves strategically planning and implementing procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency through the use of Operational Excellence tools. The successful candidate will support operational training activities to enhance efficiency and compliance, as well as perform tasks to support Drug Substance release, such as tracking and data collation. They must ensure that any laboratory process improvements align with our Safety culture.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should hold a minimum of a third-level qualification (Degree) in Science or a related discipline and have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare laboratory or related technical function. A strong knowledge of laboratory operation, particularly training and testing requirements from receipt to CoA, is required. Involvement in project scoping and tracking is desirable.
