Vehicle Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

\r

Clean and prepare vehicles for rental, ensuring they meet company standards.

\r

Drive vehicles to and from designated locations, such as rental branches, airports, and customer pickup/drop-off points, accurately logging movements on our app.

\r

Perform pre- and post-rental inspections to verify vehicle cleanliness and safety.

\r

Audit the quality of vehicles inside and out.

\r

Install and remove trackers, activate and deactivate them as needed.

\r

Complete necessary paperwork and documentation efficiently and accurately.

\r

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and prioritize tasks.

\r

Conduct safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.

\r

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

\r

Responsible for own health and safety and that of other work colleagues.

\r

Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times, representing the organization in a positive light.

\r

Perform ad hoc duties as directed by management.

\r

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\r
  • \r
  • Full clean B driving license held for a minimum of 2 years essential.\r
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.\r
  • 40 hour working week, Monday to Saturday, with Saturday work required.\r
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.\r
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.\r
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.\r
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.\r
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.\r
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage pressure in a fast-paced environment.\r
  • Good communications skills - both written and verbal.\r
  • Mechanical knowledge a plus, e.g., checking oil, tires etc.\r
