Senior Creative Art Director

This role requires a technical and creative professional to develop and create various forms of visual communication related to product information and instructional design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, analyze, and develop graphical solutions for medical devices, impacting instructional media, device features, user interfaces, carton artwork, and more.
  • Research and address technical communication and instructional issues in the healthcare sector, including OUS markets.
  • Develop best practices for visual communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and style in deliverables.
  • Stay updated on technologies and trends, applying them to improve business solutions.
  • Utilize enterprise PLM systems effectively.
  • Multi-task and execute projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strategic Project Leadership:

  • Plan and track projects, communicate timelines, and generate estimates to improve project efficiency.
  • Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaboration & Influence:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to influence instructional content and ensure proper conveyance, including usability testing.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across global and cultural boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Art or relevant field, or an AAS degree with relevant industry experience.
  • At least 2 years of design experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.

Qualifications:

  • Strong visual communication skills and experience with graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Ability to analyze user experience and interpret engineering prints and CAD models.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Solution-oriented, self-starter with the ability to prioritize and adapt.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Sedentary office work, involving computer use and information verification.
  • Ability to communicate, enter data, and use office equipment effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
