Global Inventory Manager Role

This role presents an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on global inventory management.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive global inventory budgets and rolling forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive inventory optimisation strategies to enhance turns and reduce risk, excess, and obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain alignment of inventory planning with demand forecasts and supply constraints.

Working Requirements:

  • Lead initiatives to improve working capital performance through efficient inventory management at market and regional levels.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (Days Inventory Outstanding, Inventory Turns) and deliver actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Treasury, Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams to understand drivers of inventory variability.
  • Facilitate alignment and decision-making across regional and functional teams.

Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics & Risk Management:

  • Develop and implement predictive models to identify future risks and opportunities in inventory.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to simulate scenarios and guide inventory-related decisions.

About You:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management.
  • Inventory planning experience at the global or regional level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Supply Chain qualification is beneficial.

Requirements:

  • Extensive advanced planning system and SAP ERP experience.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Solid general management, leadership, and organisational skills.
