Senior Quantitative User Experience Researcher
">About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Quantitative User Experience Researcher to join our team. This role involves conducting research end-to-end for high impact, guiding stakeholders to effective collaboration with research goals.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative research, including log analysis, metrics, survey design, sampling, crosstabs, and statistics. Additionally, they should have experience with qualitative methods and user-centered design, such as interviews, diary studies, think-aloud, and usability testing.
The successful candidate will be able to plan, scope, conduct, analyze, and communicate research effectively. They will also have experience evaluating and working with external research vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Conducts research end-to-end for high impact, guiding stakeholders to effective collaboration with research goals
- Initiates research efforts aligned with product vertical goals, informed by business understanding
- Formulates programmes of study and knowledge sharing relevant to team objectives
- Leads cross-stakeholder projects and mentors others in research techniques
- Assesses pros and cons of various research methodologies and ensures high-quality execution
- Masters Degree or PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, HCI, Information Science, Psychology, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing domains
- Expertise in quantitative research (log analysis, metrics, survey design, sampling, crosstabs, statistics)
- Experience with qualitative methods and user-centered design (interviews, diary studies, think-aloud, usability testing)
- Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to stakeholders using data
- Strong critical thinking beyond business requests
- Excellent storytelling and communication in English with product teams, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders
