Acoustic Expert Job Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled acoustics professional to join our team and contribute to delivering innovative solutions that guide risk-based decision-making and drive excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage acoustic consulting projects and foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective project execution strategies covering phases such as site selection, permitting, design, construction, and operation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams to create and deliver innovative acoustic design solutions that address complex environmental noise challenges.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee technical processes related to acoustic analyses, mitigation design, acoustic testing, and environmental noise surveys.
  • Mentorship: Mentor team members and foster the development of individual technical and professional skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics-related major.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in acoustic consulting with a proven track record across various industry sectors.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to manage external clients, their projects, and internal teams.
  • Effective Communication: Effective leadership capabilities with demonstrated experience in guiding and developing teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and experience in implementing environmental assessments compliant with NEPA or comparable programs.
