Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our indirect tax compliance obligations in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee indirect tax compliance reporting operations and activity for the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands.
  • Manage and supervise a team of Tax Accountants, providing development support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure indirect tax implications are considered in business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve VAT and indirect tax processes and systems, delivering results-driven solutions.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a broad and comprehensive level of expertise in all areas of indirect tax.
  • Prior retail experience is beneficial, particularly in bespoke retail scheme agreement knowledge.
  • Show a solid understanding of accounting principles and their impact on taxation matters.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills, including experience with SAP and MS Excel.
