The role of Occupational Health Physician involves providing medical services to employees in a workplace setting. This position requires a deep understanding of occupational medicine and the ability to lead a team in this specialist area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating their knowledge and experience of European and international practice in occupational medicine, as well as their leadership skills in this field.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with HSE Dublin and South East, contributing to the health and wellbeing of employees across Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Waterford and South Tipperary.
The contract type is permanent part-time or wholetime, offering flexibility and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing medical services to employees in a workplace setting
- Leading a team in occupational medicine
- Demonstrating knowledge and experience of European and international practice in occupational medicine
- Developing and implementing strategies to promote employee health and wellbeing
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in occupational medicine or related field
- Extensive experience in occupational medicine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
