Autism Assessment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive autism assessments using ADIR and ADOS diagnostic tools
  • Delivering detailed reports and feedback sessions for children and their families
  • Working across a variety of settings including home, clinic, and school environments
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support children's development
  • Maintaining accurate service user records in line with data protection and freedom of information acts

Requirements:

  • Hold a CORU-registered Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Currently working as a Senior Occupational Therapist or meet the criteria for this grade
  • Certified training in Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADIR) and ADOS (Structured Play-Based Assessment Diagnostic Tool)
  • Up-to-date training in GDPR, Children First, Consent, and Health & Safety
