Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished procurement leader to join our organization as Director of Global Procurement.

  • This role will be accountable for driving the strategic direction of global facilities, capital, and logistics categories, aligning with business objectives and priorities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement, preferably with experience in Pharma/BioPharma, and demonstrate expertise in category management, supplier negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus 12+ years experience in procurement is required.
  • The ability to work effectively in a matrixed global organization, driving local priorities within a global framework, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks.
  • Providing coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports.

This role requires:

  • Experience leading manager level professionals in a multi-national firm, including writing performance reviews, setting annual objectives, coaching, and developing direct reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization in organizational decisions.
