About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at TN Ireland. As a GSE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of Ground Support Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on GSE to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  2. Breakdown Support: Provide timely support for GSE breakdowns and faults in service.
  3. Planned Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule and carry out planned GSE maintenance to meet company standards.
  4. Diagnostic Analysis: Utilize expert diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed using our fleet maintenance system.
  6. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with operational standards through thorough safety inspections.
  7. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in workshops and service vehicles.
  8. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  9. Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support operational needs and team goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic system diagnosis and repair.
  • Ability to interpret complex schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and diesel engine maintenance.
  • A valid driver's license and possession of a full personal tool kit.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding work environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in GSE or warehouse electric vehicle repairs.
  • Certification in workplace safety.
  • Fully qualified HGV or Plant Mechanic certification.
  • Junior and Senior Trade Certificates, FETAC level 6 or equivalent.
