We are seeking a Night Porter to join our hospitality team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in and out hotel guests, assisting with luggage porterage and responding to guest requests. They will also be responsible for cleaning and fogging areas throughout the hotel, including public and staff spaces. This will involve setting up breakfast areas, serving drinks and food to guests and maintaining the front entrance and outside of the hotel to ensure it remains clean and tidy at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Manage hotel check-ins and check-outs ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist with luggage porterage and respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Clean and maintain public and staff areas within the hotel, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Set up breakfast areas and serve drinks and food to guests as required.
  • Ensure the front entrance and outside of the hotel remain clean and tidy at all times, including emptying bins and picking up rubbish.
  • Maintain a full understanding of the hotel's fire procedures to ensure the safety of all staff and guests at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
  • A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
Skills

Hotel management, customer service, cleaning and maintenance, teamwork and communication.
