Software Engineer Role Overview

You'll serve as the final quality assurance checkpoint before software applications are released to end-users. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, research emerging features, and create automated tests.

We require individuals who can think creatively and adapt quickly to changing circumstances, as well as a willingness to learn new skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

Create and execute test strategies, investigate new feature requirements, and develop automated testing frameworks.

Evaluate software solutions for adherence to enterprise standards for quality, performance, usability, and supportability.

  • Software Quality Assurance Expertise: Experience with software testing methodologies and techniques, designing and implementing tests to ensure software meets quality standards and requirements.
  • Development Skills: Strong background in software development, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, and scripting skills like Unix shell programming.
  • Automation Integration: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Critical Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.
  • Global Team Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly within a global team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a collaborative work environment to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

We value experience with:

  • API Management Systems: Familiarity with API management systems, their configuration, and operation.
  • Cloud and Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.
  • Distributed Software Development: Familiarity with distributed software development using Git or similar systems.
