  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on trenching equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Manage the launch, recovery, and precise subsea operation of trenching vehicles, taking into account various factors such as water pressure, currents, and terrain.
  • Operate and monitor tools such as mechanical trenchers, sonar, video systems, and navigation equipment, analyzing data from onboard sensors to optimize operations.
  • Assist in documentation, including daily reports, technical procedures, risk assessments, and work permits, to ensure compliance with internal safety and quality standards.
  • Cooperate with the wider offshore team to achieve project goals, maintaining clear communication at all levels and adapting to changing circumstances.

We require candidates to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in trenching operations, preferably with a strong background in electronics, hydraulics, or mechanical systems.
  • Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (MLC compliant) and Maritime Safety Training Certificate (according to STCW or equivalent).
  • Ability to travel and work offshore globally on a rotational basis, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
