Summer Internship in Audit and Finance

This is a 10-week summer internship that offers the opportunity to develop an understanding of internal audit across various businesses and the control functions that support them. It provides the chance to build technical skills, industry knowledge, and familiarity with a corporate environment.
About the RoleThe role involves contributing to the audit team's planned coverage, including validation of risk management activities through testing of key processes and controls. This includes developing core skills focused on audit practices, methodology, and business expertise, as well as writing risk-focused conclusions for audit work to explain results to senior management.
Responsibilities- Developing a deep understanding of internal audit principles and practices.
- Conducting tests of key processes and controls to validate risk management activities.
- Preparing risk-focused conclusions for audit work.
- Strengthening industry knowledge and familiarity with a corporate environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a keen interest in finance and accounting and be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

EligibilityTo be eligible for this role, you must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027. You must also have a minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent). Additionally, you must be available to join the programme from June 2026 to August 2026.
