Programme Overview

The Corporate Audit Summer Analyst Programme is a 10-week summer internship that introduces you to Bank of America and Corporate Audit. It offers the opportunity to develop an understanding of internal audit across the bank's Global Banking and Markets businesses and the control functions that support them. The goal is to build your technical skills, industry knowledge, and familiarity with a corporate environment while aligning with your interests and background.

Training and Development

Your training and development are a top priority with extensive formal training at the start of the programme, on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities

As a summer analyst, responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Develop core skills focused on audit practices, methodology and business expertise.
  • Contribute to the audit team's planned coverage, including validation of risk management activities through testing of key processes and controls.
  • Write risk-focused conclusions for audit work to explain results to senior management.
  • Develop understanding of the bank's core products, control functions, and risk and control framework.
  • Complete an audit-focused group project on a current or emerging risk topic.
Eligibility
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027. Evidence of completion may be requested before extending an offer.
  • Minimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
  • Available to join the programme from June 2026 to August 2026.

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2027; some lines of business may offer January or April start dates. Availability to join on one of these start dates is required if offered.
