The team

In partnership with our lines of business, GO develops innovative strategies and solutions designed to enhance our clients' performance and supports clients in reaching their business goals. We deliver end-to-end trade lifecycle support for securities, loans, exchange and OTC derivative products beginning from pre-trade onboarding, including KYC/AML reviews to trade booking affirmation, settlement and reconciliation. We provide cross-business functional support including asset servicing, client asset reconciliation, cash management, collateral, reconciliation, and fees & billing.

Programme Overview

Our Global Operations (GO) Summer Analyst opportunity offers an invaluable opportunity to gain experience at a top tier financial institution. The programme provides a thorough introduction to the Operations division and financial services industry. You will gain an understanding of the products that we trade, and how we manage them operationally to ensure we are meeting our clients' needs. You will also have ample opportunity to meet and interact with a range of employees, thus building your professional network.

Training and Development

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities

As a Summer Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding, KYC (Know Your Client) / AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes including ongoing client refresh
  • Trade Support, including trade validation and maintenance, clearing and settlement, and breaks reconciliation
  • Accurate setup of client, account, and product reference data
  • Data management, collection, and analysis
  • Process and risk review with continuous improvement implementation
Eligibility
  • Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a completion timeframe between September 2026 and July 2027. Completion means all final exams, coursework, and no outstanding requirements for graduation. We may request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer.
  • Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • On track for a minimum 2:2 degree classification (or equivalent)
  • Must be available to join the programme from June 2026 to August 2026

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2027; some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered, unfortunately we are unable to offer deferrals.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethics by earning others' trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions
