Data Center Controls Design Engineer

The role of Electrical and Mechanical Controls Specialist is a critical component of our Data Center Engineering team. We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and implement electrical and mechanical controls systems for critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create project-specific scope of work documents, specifications, and engineering drawings that meet global design standards.
- Develop and disseminate design standards across the organization.
- Operate effectively in high-security critical environments while maintaining productivity.
- Identify opportunities to innovate and develop new solutions to support both team and company goals.
- Interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and ensure they align with documented standards.
- Manage requests for information on new construction builds, existing site facilities support, and legacy site enhancement projects.
- Ensure systems are deployed and commissioned according to documented standards.
- Strive for efficiency through budgetary review and approval while prioritizing customer needs.
- Anticipate roadblocks and risks, and provide escalation management to ensure timely delivery.
- Effectively manage external consultants' performance to achieve high-quality results.
- Review vendor bid packages and make informed selection recommendations.
This role involves working closely with highly motivated experts and innovators in the data center industry. You will lead the electrical and mechanical controls design of critical infrastructure projects and contribute to developing new processes and standards.
