Lead Electrical Design Engineer for Data Centers

This role involves leading the design of electrical systems in data centers to ensure high reliability and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, and at least 8 years of experience in designing industrial or commercial engineering projects, including data centers, power generation, oil, and gas facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for data centers
  • - Interface with internal and external teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered
  • - Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions, and act as a technical subject matter expert
  • - Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience: At least 8 cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree: In Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Data Center Design Experience: At least 3 years of experience in data center design
  • Chartered Engineer: Prior experience as a Chartered Engineer
  • Prior Project Management Experience: PMP/Prince2 certification
