Job Profile

We are seeking a dedicated Accommodation Support Professional to join our team. This role involves assisting the Accommodation Manager in daily operations and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Accommodation Manager in maintaining the smooth running of the Accommodation Department according to established procedures and legislation.
  • Maintain compliance with hotel policy on uniform, personal hygiene, and Health & Safety protocols among housekeeping staff.
  • Contribute to developing, training, and coaching housekeeping staff to hotel standards.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and implementing departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Stay aware of daily business, including room occupancy, VIP needs, and special requirements; liaise with Reception regarding room moves and VIPs.
  • Distribute and check keys, room lists, checklists, and cleaning schedules at shift start; review at shift end.
  • Monitor work of Room Assistants, Linen Porters, and Maintenance to ensure standards are met.
  • Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and appearance according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure maintenance work in bedrooms, laundry, and public areas is completed before releasing rooms to Front Desk.
  • In the Accommodation Manager's absence, input weekly rosters and manage attendance in Timepoint, considering hotel status.
  • Assist in payroll accuracy and ensure stock levels of supplies are maintained; oversee ordering in the absence of the Accommodation Manager.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • An excellent command of the English language is essential.
