Senior Data Center Electrical Systems Designer

A global leader in cloud infrastructure is seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer to join its Data Centre Engineering team. This role involves designing, planning, delivering, and operating cutting-edge data centers that power the world's most innovative companies.
Main Responsibilities- Developing design specifications and reviewing technical drawings to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Supporting on-site activities, including site inspections and technical reviews, to guarantee seamless project delivery.
- Presenting designs to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve scalable capacity at optimal cost while maintaining high safety and security standards.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with expertise in power systems and mission-critical electrical design.
- In-depth knowledge of European Electrical Codes and detailed understanding of critical LV, MV, and HV electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with relays, protection schemes, high-voltage circuit breakers, power distribution transformers, switchgear, grounding, and earthing.
- Chartered Engineer with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant experience in data center or mission-critical facility design.
- Proven track record in consultant negotiation and management for fast-track design/build projects or multiple significant upgrade projects.
